I coach and support leaders, managers, business owners and individuals to transform their lives and be more productive and effective in the way they deal with work, their teams and how they balance their own lives. I have worked for many years as a leader and manager in FE and HE and learned that leadership and coaching skills are vitally important in helping yourself and others in your team to develop, meet targets and work together for the benefit of all. I believe in the power of our stories and developing the story of who we want to be. My work is now founded on compassionate and transformational leadership with the values of trust, compassion, gratitude and authenticity at its heart.
Before setting up my own business in coaching and leadership development training, I was an internal coach at Bangor University. I coached staff at a senior level across the University and was responsible for introducing coaching skills to my own team working closely with HR. I have worked as a coach for WeMindTheGap an innovative programme which assists young women aged 19 to 30 years old to get into employment and challenge themselves every day. I also coach privately and run training sessions on coaching skills and leadership development.
I coach and mentor leaders, managers and business owners to help and support them through times of change and challenge. I work with people to enhance their own productivity and that of their teams, to enhance their own wellbeing and lives, to develop high performing teams and a more compassionate way of looking at managing in today's world. We build on strengths and leaderships skills, release self-limiting beliefs and increase confidence, emotional intelligence and an overall sense of wellbeing.
I am also a coordinator, along with Wendy Dick, for the EMCCUK Wales and Cheshire Network providing meetings, talks and CPD activities for coaches and mentors in the region. Any coach or mentor is welcome. You not need to be a member of the EMCCUK and all events can be found on the EMCCUK's website
